特に影響なし / no specific affection

台風は昨日の昼すぎ頃にはすでに影響がなかった。

うちの地元では特に影響はなかったが、近隣の市などでは避難した地域もあったらしい。私の住んでいるところは基本的に災害の被害をあいにくいようで、いいところに住んでるなあと思う。

昨日は村上春樹のWhat I talk about when I talk about runningの精読をしようと思ったが、いちいち辞書を引くのを面倒に感じて、結局やらなかった。

Typhoon didn't affected in my area last afternoon.

We weren't affected in my local, but several part near here became evacuation area, according to TV news. My local is basically strong against natural hazards. My family and I think that we live nice place, every time.

Yesterday, I planed to read Haruki Murakami's "What I talk about when I talk about running" analytically, but I didn't want to check a dictionary, and I didn't read. Instead, I read a web article about iPad mini5 and iPhone7 rumor. I thought it's not very good method to read analytically paperbacks from scratch. I thought, at first, reading a Japanese book, then the English translated book without dictionary, after that, with dictionary, is better way.

I know it's a good method to read English sentences which you already know, but I also thought it's better to read what I haven't read. The latter is "reading a lot" among ordinary Japanese English learners, and the former is a method which Mr. Seiryouin, a writer, says. I still wonder which is better, so I can't try hard.
